Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Travel Manager to oversee and coordinate all aspects of domestic and international travel for employees and clients. The ideal candidate will ensure cost-effective travel arrangements, maintain relationships with vendors, and ensure compliance with travel policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, book, and manage all business-related travel (flights, hotels, transport, visas, insurance, etc.)
- Develop and enforce travel policies and budgets in line with company objectives
- Negotiate contracts with travel agencies, airlines, hotels, and other service providers
- Monitor travel expenses and prepare periodic reports for management
- Handle travel-related emergencies, changes, and last-minute bookings efficiently
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of international travel regulations, visa requirements, and COVID/travel advisories
- Provide support for group travel, events, and delegations when needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field
- Proven experience (3+ years) in corporate or group travel management
- Strong organizational, negotiation, and multitasking skills
- Proficiency with travel management software and booking platforms
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Preferred:
- Experience handling international travel coordination
- Knowledge of visa processes and document requirements for key destinations
- Familiarity with budgeting and expense reporting tools
