Logistics Manager (3PL Operations)
Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Logistics Manager (3PL) to manage and optimize our third-party logistics operations. The ideal candidate will oversee the end-to-end movement of goods, coordinate with 3PL partners, and ensure timely, cost-effective, and accurate delivery of products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage relationships and daily coordination with third-party logistics providers (warehousing, transport, last-mile delivery)
- Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, inventory accuracy, and order fulfillment
- Track KPIs such as delivery timelines, cost efficiency, shipment accuracy, and vendor performance
- Resolve logistics issues quickly, including delays, damages, and inventory discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, customs regulations, and company policies
- Implement continuous improvement strategies to streamline logistics operations
- Collaborate with procurement, sales, and customer service teams to align logistics with business needs
- Monitor logistics costs and prepare detailed reports for senior management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain, with at least 2 years in 3PL operations
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, transportation, and distribution management
- Proficient in logistics software, WMS, and ERP systems
- Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills
Preferred:
- Experience with e-commerce, FMCG, or retail logistics
- Familiarity with reverse logistics and multi-location inventory
- Certification in supply chain (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) is a plus
