Japanese Language Teacher

ob Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and qualified Japanese Language Teacher to deliver engaging and effective lessons to students at various proficiency levels. The ideal candidate should have a strong command of the Japanese language, cultural knowledge, and experience in teaching methodologies tailored to diverse learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Japanese language classes for beginner to advanced levels (JLPT N5 to N2/N1)
- Design lesson plans, assignments, and assessments based on curriculum goals
- Prepare students for JLPT exams and/or business-level Japanese communication
- Incorporate cultural elements and real-life usage into teaching to enhance learning
- Track student progress, provide feedback, and support individualized learning needs
- Coordinate with academic staff to maintain quality and consistency in instruction
- Participate in extracurricular activities related to Japanese language and culture (e.g., cultural exchange events, speech contests)
- Stay updated on new teaching techniques, tools, and Japanese language education trends
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Japanese Language, Literature, or a related field
- JLPT N2 or higher (N1 preferred)
- Minimum 1–3 years of teaching experience (online or offline)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with digital teaching tools and online platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
Preferred:
- Teaching certification (e.g., Nihongo Kyouiku Shuuryousho, B.Ed., or similar)
- Experience teaching in multicultural or academic institutions
- Knowledge of English or local language to assist beginner-level learners
